The unprecedented situation with COVID-19 has posed challenges and inconveniences in our lives in the past few months. The organizing committee of the event has recently issued a news released with the whole information, that we now share below:

We are pleased to announce that the 2020 edition of Seafood Expo Asia has been re-scheduled and moved to a new location. The event will be held 18 – 20 November 2020 in Singapore at the Singapore EXPO, Hall 2, and will be co-located with Asia Fruit Logistica.
The new dates and location were carefully considered and factored in feedback from you – our valued customers and partners, as well as the findings of a third-party independent research study.
The move to Singapore will reinforce Seafood Expo Asia’s positioning in connecting international seafood suppliers and Asian buyers in the epicenter of the robust seafood markets. Singapore is an important business hub for global trade, connecting 400 cities worldwide. The event will continue its positioning as an effective seafood business trade platform for the seafood community throughout Asia.
There is more clarity on the effectiveness of COVID-19 measures and we are currently seeing some of the countries starting their plans to reopen their economy. Hosting the event later in the year, and as the Asian economy re-opens, presents the opportunity for seafood suppliers and buyers to capture year-end business and prepare for the year ahead.
You can continue to expect the same high level of event management, modern facility, vendor services and accommodation options. Seafood Expo Asia will feature networking and educational opportunities, including a conference program covering the most relevant industry topics in Asia, business matching program, product showcase and the signature Young Chef Challenge.
This year’s edition of Seafood Expo Asia will be co-located with Asia Fruit Logistica, the leading continental trade show for Asia’s fresh produce business. Asia Fruit Logistica 2019 brought more than 12,000 trade professionals from all over the world to meet and do business in fresh fruits and vegetables with over 800 exhibitors from 40 countries.
As both events target the perishable food sector, the co-location provides a convenient one-stop sourcing platform for international buyers in Asia looking for global suppliers of all types of seafood as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Asia Fruit Logistica has a strong reputation in the Asian market and the organizers share the same high standards for health and safety.
