By Network for Women in Marine Science (WiMS)
In recognition of the International Day of Women & Girls in Science 2026, the Network for Women in Marine Science (WiMS) is hosting a 2-hour online workshop (open to both men and women) designed specifically for individuals working in the marine sector.
Through interactive tools, real-life scenarios, and collective discussion, we’ll explore how to recognize the many forms of sexual harassment, understand its personal and systemic impacts, and develop practical strategies for prevention and response — both individually and collectively.
The workshop will be delivered by Aurélie Gremaud-Laforet; a SEAH (Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment) expert who works with institutions and individuals to promote transparency, accountability and trust.
The workshop session will be a safe, supportive space to reflect, learn, and take action toward building safer, more equitable maritime environments. All voices are welcome and your experience matters
Register here to participate. (The registration process includes a brief survey on subject matter preferences, which will help us tailor the workshop to your needs, expectations, and questions.)
* Note: The webinar will not be recorded due to the sensitivity of the topic.
