Iceland-based company Wisefish has signed an agreement with Arnarlax, one of Iceland’s largest producers of farmed Atlantic salmon, to implement their sales and logistics business solution. The move comes as salmon farming in Iceland is seeing increased adoption of digital systems to improve operational oversight and coordination.
As a solution, Wisefish supports visibility and automation across the full value chain, from harvest through processing, logistic and sales, helping improve coordination between operational and commercial teams. As Linda Gunnlaugsdóttir, CSO at Arnarlax, says: “Implementing the Wisefish sales and logistics solution is an important step in further connecting our value chain.”
Real-Time Access
According to Yngvi Halldórsson, CEO at Wisefish: “When farming and selling fresh salmon, efficiency and transparency are essential. Róbertsson has worked as CFO at Kaldvik for the past five years, and 10 years at Ernst and Young in transaction advisory services and audit. He brings solid industry experience together with strong capabilities in corporate finance and financial management.
