Tuesday, 13 December, the government was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) to prepare amendments to the rules governing the granting of aid rules, the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) measure "Productive investments in aquaculture".

Pond restoration work will be able to ponds, which can lower the water using the water level control and lowering sluice culvert with aquaculture animals catches (collection) and bed processing.

Ponds specialized equipment will be available for aquaculture farms, ponds with a total area of ​​more than 100 hectares and whose income from the farm grown production sales in the previous year of at least EUR 100 000.The cost of reconstruction of ponds per year will not exceed the amount calculated on the applicant for aid revenue from aquaculture establishments or holdings grown aquaculture production sales in the previous year multiplied by two, and at the same time not exceeding € 2 / m3 and 3,000 euros / ha. Support for each individual pond restoration will be able to get no more than once during the programming period, and support will be granted for any given pond area reconstruction.It is expected that, by this kind of costs will boost the total aquaculture output growth.
